Here is some more info on the cars you can rent on Oahu.

Oahu is a great little island, and you can take the bus almost anywhere, as long as you have the time.  Also Google maps does pretty well with mapping how to get there.  But I think you should think about renting a car on Oahu.  The convertibles are nice, but please be aware, with the top down, in your rental car on Oahu, you are going to burn the top of your head, and you will not have the A/C because the top is down in your Rented Car on Oahu.
