My guest and I arrived downtown Waikiki at approximately 9:00 p.m. on a Friday night in May. We were happy to see every time prior to this time that we were in front of The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu that the whole restaurant was filled with people apparently enjoying their food. That is always a good sign! So, we proceeded to the door of The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu in order to put our name on the waiting list for a seat. We requested a seat outside near the street because we like to people watch when we are downtown Waikiki. There are many interesting people walking around all the time when you are there. The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu is a great place to eat and be entertained by all of the activity that surrounds beautiful Waikiki!

We entered The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu to put our name on the waiting list and the person who was managing the front desk was very nice. The hostess at The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu informed us that it would be an approximate 30 wait until we could be seated. We were happy with that, and so we went to sit outside until the pager she had given us went off to let us know that our table was ready. Well, it seemed like forever, but even after a ½ hour the pager still had not gone off. I started to think that something was malfunctioning within the pager because of the wait. We finally decided to go in to The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu to see what was going on. It was certainly possible that with all of the people inside already seated, and the number of people waiting to be seated outside and in the lobby of The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu, that there were still no seats available. However, we still decided to see about how long it was still going to take until we could be seated.

When we reentered The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu, the very pleasant girl at the front desk told us that she was surprised that we hadn’t come in sooner. She then continued to tell us that she had been paging us for several minutes. We all came to the very real conclusion that the pager definitely was not working properly. Well, all of that didn’t matter. The important things were that we were being seated immediately because our table at The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu had not been given away before we came back in to see what was going on, and that the malfunctioning of the paging device was not the fault of the hostess at The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu. We were very happy to see that the table in which we were being seated was exactly where we wanted to be. So, we ended up waiting for a while, but, we got seated in what I would call the most perfect seat in the house.

I was very excited to be at The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu because I had not been there before. I sat down and started to look at The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant’s menu. I couldn’t believe how many different kinds of cheesecake The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu had to offer guests that were in the mood to eat desert. I suppose that most of the people who dine at The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu are there to either eat a meal and then desert, or, hey only go there for the cheesecake or other kinds of scrumptious deserts that The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant on Oahu has to offer.

Review for The Makani Fireworks Cruise on Oahu

One Friday night, my guest and I went on a fireworks cruise on a catamaran called The Makani. The Makani on Oahu is a is 65ft long and 32ft wide, U.S. Coast Guard certified sailing catamaran that was built in St. Croix, Virgin Islands in Aug. 2005. The Makani on Oahu can hold up to 80 passengers, and she is equipped with twin Yanmar 125 horse power diesel engines, 3 blade folding propellers from Gori of Denmark, and can travel at up to 30 knots under sail. Its main rotating wing mast rises 70 feet above the deck, constructed of carbon fiber by Southern Spars of New Zealand. The Makani on Oahu is a great boat to be on. The crew is not only funny, but they are very knowledgeable about the boat and safety procedures if something should happen while we were on The Makani on Oahu.

When we first arrived to the place where The Makani on Oahu leaves from, we were very happy because this particular Friday night we had good weather and it was also very clear in the sky. These conditions make any night perfect for a fireworks show. We were told that the cruise was supposed to go out at 5:30 p.m. and return at approximately 8:30 p.m… I was very excited about the cruise because I had never gone on a cruise before. I expected that I was in for a real treat because I had noticed that there were a lot of people that had apparently gone out on a cruise before that were very excited besides me. We were given 2 little blue tickets each, making a total of 4 little blue tickets total for me and my guest. Each of these tickets was good for 1 beverage of your choice, either alcoholic or non alcoholic. The Makani on Oahu has a full bar for guests to take advantage of while out on their cruise.

We started out at approximately 5:45 p.m. on The Makani on Oahu, which was a little later than I thought we would have left. But, off into the big blue ocean we went on The Makani on Oahu. Well, it’s funny. We all know that water is clear and has no color. However, it was very obvious once we were out quite a ways that if you look down into the water that it truly looks blue. It looks like a clear yet rich blue color as far down as you can see into the water. Like I said before, I had never been out on a boat before, and I didn’t think that anything strange would happen while I was on The Makani on Oahu. But, about ½ an hour into the cruise I started to feel kind of sick. I noticed that the rocking of The Makani on Oahu just would not stop. Even when the engines of The Makani on Oahu stopped and we started to sail, the boat kept on rocking. It is a very icky weird feeling that is hard to describe. I hope it never happens to anybody if else if they decide to go out on a boat.

Several people were still in line at the bar either getting a first drink, or, some of the people on The Makani on Oahu were on their third or fourth drink from what I estimate. There were few enough people on The Makani on Oahu that it was possible to get to know every face you saw while on the cruise. Also, The Makani on Oahu is a small enough so that all the people on it are close enough to each other at all times that you are able to see what everyone is doing throughout the entire cruise. It seemed to me that as entertaining as the crew was, that they were a little too enthusiastic about getting people to go to the bar to get more alcohol. That of course is just my opinion, but they almost made it seem as if you had to be drinking an alcoholic beverage in order to be having a good time. This was certainly not the case.

The Makani on Oahu took all of us out to a place on the ocean where we would be able to see the fireworks from The Hilton Hawaiian Village when they went off. We were pretty far out there, and it was getting pretty dark quickly. The buildings on the shore lit up when it became dark outside, and they really made the view incredible from where we were. It reminded me of the way things look by the lake in Chicago where I come from. The whole island looked like it was lit up from The Makani on Oahu while we were out on the ocean. The fireworks from The Hilton Hawaiian Village were supposed to be starting at approximately 8:00 p.m.; however, they did not start until just around 8:30. The reason I was surprised about that was that the cruise on The Makani on Oahu was supposed to be over at 8:30. So, it was a little late, but I didn’t have anywhere to go after that so it was o.k...

When the fireworks finally started, I was very happy to be there because they looked great and I had not seen any kind of fireworks in several years. Well, besides the kind of fireworks you can buy at the grocery store around the 4th of July. Every year on the 3rd of July in Chicago, there is a fireworks show downtown on Navy Pier that is awesome. The only difference between the fireworks show downtown Chicago and the on we saw on The Makani on Oahu was that the one on Oahu was a little bit shorter. The fireworks shows anywhere are really expensive depending on their duration. The fireworks that we saw from The Makani on Oahu were big, bright, colorful, and sparkly. They lit up the sky in front of The Makani on Oahu. We had a great time. I highly recommend going on The Makani on Oahu if you get the chance while you are on Oahu!!!

The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu is located quite a long distance from Waikiki where my guest and I were staying. The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu is specifically located in Laie, Hawaii near the North Shore of Oahu. When we finally arrived at The Polynesian Cultural Center, we were very happy to see that there were many other visitors to the center that day. In my opinion, I believe that places like The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu play an extremely important part in helping to educate people of other cultures and backgrounds about the Polynesian people. I also believe that The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu does an excellent job of recreating different settings of many Polynesian villages. These villages are very accurate depictions of the way that these places would have actually looked many years ago. The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu is a great place to bring the family, or, is a wonderful place for a couple who want to enjoy the peaceful and serene surroundings of The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu.

I was expecting to find that The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu was a place that was not very authentic in its representations of different Polynesian cultures. However, I haven’t been more wrong before or since my visit to The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu makes a great effort to reinvent the settings of many of these Polynesian villages from a long time ago. The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu spares no expense to make the villages that help to make up The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu also goes to great lengths to make sure that the staff that walks the grounds of The Polynesian Cultural Center is dressed in authentic clothing from many of the different Polynesian places that are represented there. It is really amazing. You would swear that you are walking around an ancient Polynesian village from long ago when you are visiting the awesome Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu.

I can’t stress enough how accurate and real The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu makes everything there. The people who work for The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu are so nice. They really play their parts as Polynesian people very well. The staff at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu makes visitors to the center feel very at home, so to speak. When at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, you will feel a sense of belonging. You will feel almost like family among all of the staff members at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. They walk beside you, talk to you, and show you the hospitality that anyone who is proud of their home would. The Polynesian people are very proud of who they are, where they live, their culture, their traditions and being true to who they are and always have been. Well, I understand that any person is usually proud of all of these things, but, The Polynesian people are especially proud of these things. I would be too if I was a person of Polynesian decent because there is a lot to be proud of, not just the things that I mentioned.

The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu was opened on October 12, 1963. Today, The Polynesian Cultural Center is still happily educating and entertaining people from all around the world. It seems to me that the staff at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu is genuinely interested in making guests feel welcomed, rather than looking at their job as a burden. Also, they are very good at what they do.

I would like to let you know a little bit about the Ali’i Luau. This is the luau I attended while visiting The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. The Ali’i Luau offers guests a flower lei greeting, plenty of hula dancing, Hawaiian music and entertainment, multi-lingual hosts and hostesses, comfortable and covered seating, an all you can eat buffet, clear views of the imu (pig) ceremony, and delicious authentic Hawaiian food. I have to say, the food at the luau was very good. There was a wide variety of foods to choose from. One thing that was surprising to me was that The Ali’I Luau did not serve alcoholic beverages of any kind. Also, The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu does not sell alcoholic beverages of any kind at any of the snack stands within the center. I am certainly not saying that this is a bad thing; I am simply saying that this is an unusual because al of the other luaus I have been to offer guests a variety of alcoholic beverages that are pre-made and are located just inside the doors of where the luaus are taking place. The other luaus also have a bartender and a limited variety of alcohol if you would like to have a drink that is different than the ones that are already put out for people attending the luaus. Well, The Ali’i Luau has a lot to offer the people who are fortunate enough to visit The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu.

Some examples of the different types of foods that are offered at The Ali’i Luau at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu are: coconut cake, guava cake, taro rolls, ambrosia salad, salad with a variety of dressings, and pulled pork. Of course, these are only a few of the wonderful items that are offered at The Ali’i Luau at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu is really a great place to visit when you are in Hawaii!!!

Last but not least, I would like to let you know that The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu is host to The World Fireknife Championship every year. It just so happens that when we went to The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, The World Fireknife Championship for 2008 was in progress. To me, it was one of the best things I had the opportunity to watch throughout the day at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. The men that participate in this competition are really excellent and they are also disciplined. It is very easy to understand what I am talking about when you see these men perform. I believe that the fireknife dancers are truly disciplined because of the amount of time they spend practicing. I am guessing that it takes years of hard work to become good enough to compete in a competition like The World Fireknife Championship. The competitors are mesmerizing. I highly recommend attending one of The World Fireknife Championships at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu if you are interested in watching many different men show off their hard work, discipline, and talent. It is a wonderful experience.

There were so many things that I liked about The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu that it is difficult to write it all down. All in all, I had a great time learning new things about the Polynesian people, eating unique foods at The Ali’i Luau, and enjoying The World Fireknife Championships at The Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. St Germain Bakery is located on the island of Oahu, in downtown Honolulu’s Ala Moana Shopping Center. However, St. Germain Bakery was first opened in Vancouver, Canada in 1986. There are also several other St. Germain Bakeries located throughout the United States. For example, there 2 more St. Germain Bakeries, 1 is in Chicago, Illinois, and the other St. Germain Bakery is in Seattle, Washington. With St. Germain Bakery locations all in very different parts of the country, it is pretty safe to say that people living in these areas, or not far from them, have tasted the wonderful baked items that the St. Germain Bakeries offer to their customers. The St. Germain Bakery was founded by a renowned French baker from St. Germain, France. That is why the name of the bakery is St. Germain Bakery. The baker that opened St. Germain Bakery also helped and trained other bakers on how to make several different tasty products that would later be sold in many St. Germain Bakeries all over the place.

My guest and I arrived at one of the St. Germain Bakeries located in Honolulu at The Ala Moana Shopping Center. There is also another St. Germain Bakery that I am Familiar with that is located on Oahu in downtown Waikiki. But, anyways, we were in the St. Germain Bakery located in Honolulu in The Ala Moana Shopping Center. So, I looked around and saw so many delicious items that couldn’t make a decision about what I wanted right away, and neither could my guest. Some of the items at St. Germain Bakery on Oahu I was looking at were: Sugar Free Chocolate Mousse Cake, Tiramisu, Mixed Fruit Shortcake, Orange Chocolate Mousse Cake, Mango Passion Fruit Mousse Cake, Apple Caramel Mousse Cake, Lychee and Strawberry Mousse Cake, Sicilian Almond Torte, Lemon Berry Mousse Cake, Mango Pudding Cake, Chestnut Short Cake, Black Forest Cake, Red Bean Green Tea Bavarian Cake, Fruit Cheese Cake, Golden Bird Nest Cake and Signature Cheese Cake. Don’t all of those cakes sound great? I think they do! But, I want to stress that the above mentioned items are only some of the different kinds of cakes that St. Germain Bakery on Oahu offers their customers. Also, St. Germain Bakery offers their customers pastries, breads, cookies, and more.

6" and 8" cakes are available in St. Germain Bakeries on Oahu and other stores around the country. Larger cakes and custom cakes require 24 to 48 hours advance notice because they are created from scratch when they are ordered. Cake presentation may change due to the availability of seasonal fruits and/or ingredients. No matter what though, St. Germain Bakeries aim to please their customers, also, St. Germain Bakeries want to make sure that their customers are happy with any and all items that are bought or ordered. Some of the other items that are incredible at St. Germain Bakery on Oahu are: Almond Danishes, Butter Bread, Cheese Sticks, Danish Rolls, Marble Bread, Croissants and Pineapple Bread. All of these wonderful bread products are available at St. Germain Bakery on Oahu, and in other selected St. Germain Bakeries throughout the United States.

Cookies are also available at St. Germain Bakery on Oahu, and in other St. Germain Bakeries throughout the country. Some of the delicious cookies that are available are: Chocolate Spritz Cookies, Anise Butter Cookies, Finger Cookies, Linza Cookies, Cowboy Cookies, Biscotti, Chinese Spice Cookies and Buckingham Palace Shortbread Cookies. Wow! What a selection of cookies among other baked goods at St. Germain Bakery on Oahu and all over the U.S. I would love to be able to live close enough to one of the St. Germain Bakeries so I could try one of everything they offer. All of the St. Germain Bakery items on Oahu and elsewhere are visually pleasing, smell good and taste like no other baked goods I have ever had. One of the reasons I make this very bold statement is because it is true, and because St. Germain Bakery on Oahu and every other St. Germain Bakery all make great tasting, and the most unique bakery items that I know of. Really, you should try to get to a St. Germain Bakery as soon as possible to have a cookie, a piece of cake, a piece of bread and/or a pastry of your choice. Any of the St. Germain products on Oahu and elsewhere are fantastic. It’s about time you try something from one of the St. Germain Bakeries if you haven’t yet.

St. Germain is an example of European bakeries, but with the Japanese value of discipline that stresses quality, presentation, and making the baked goods at the bakery where they are sold. The outcome of these values is that all of St. Germain’s products are correctly balanced as far as sweetness, puffiness, smell, texture and the way the products taste are concerned. St. Germain’s birthday and wedding cakes are sold by size, not by how much they weigh. This is a very important part of checking the quality of all of the products at St. Germain bakeries on Oahu and everywhere else.

Sicilian Almond Torte-This is layers of almond biscuits, Italian coffee butter cream and caramelized whole almond chunks.

Well, like I said earlier, St. Germain Bakery on Oahu and their other locations, are simply the best when it comes to making great tasting deserts, pastries, cakes and whatever else you may want. Review for The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu on 4/19/08 and 4/20/08

There are so many things to do on Oahu, compared to things that are able to be done here, on Kauai, where I live. There are many places to eat on Oahu, thee are many stores to shop in on Oahu, and an interesting activity is simply walking around downtown Honolulu and people watching. Since Honolulu is a busy city on Oahu, there are many unique people, buildings, street performers, and pretty much anything else you can think of that would be a part of any big city. So, when we go over to Oahu 3 to 4 times a year, it is to attend The Hawaii Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu. This wonderful expo is a great place to find jewelry and certain other items at wholesale prices. We always leave Honolulu after The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu with a lot of different kinds of products. The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu is a great place to browse for, and buy products for resale, for personal use, or for gift giving. There is something at The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu for everyone!

Around 9: 00 A.M. on Saturday, April 19th, 2008, my guest and I were preparing to go to The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu. Our hotel was not very far from The Blaisdell Center on Oahu, so we took the bus instead of a cab to get there. When we arrived, I noticed a very long line outside The Blaisdell Center on Oahu that was leading to The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo. The line went from the door of The Blaisdell Center on Oahu, all the way down the entire length of the building, and then some. I couldn’t believe it! The last time we visited The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu, there were not nearly as many people in line as there were on this particular Saturday. However, the last time we went though, we got to The Blaisdell Center on Oahu at around 11:00 A.M... So, the only thing I could think of that would make the line a lot longer than the length of the line I am used to standing in is the time factor. The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo opens their doors for admittance to the show at 10:00 A.M., and 10:00 A.M. is when we got there. Everyone was waiting in line to be the first through the doors so they would have first pick of all of the products on display by the large variety of vendors attending The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo at The Blaisdell Center on Oahu.

I should let you know a couple of important things. People under the age of 16 are not permitted inside The Blaisdell Center on Oahu to attend The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo on Oahu. Also, you must be a registered guest in order to gain admittance to The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo on Oahu. However, a registered guest is allowed to bring 1 guest for each day of The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo on Oahu they are going to attend. There is no cost to gain admission to The Hawaii Market Merchandise Expo on Oahu for registered guests. But, if you decide to bring a guest, that guest must pay an entrance fee of $20.00 per day. The admission fee is worth paying in order to attend this wonderful show filled with so many different items. Review of The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra and Thomas Hampson on 4/19/08

My guest and I were very much excited on 4/19/08 because we were going to see The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra and Thomas Hampson that night. We arrived quite early at The Blaisdell Concert Hall. When we looked around, we immediately noticed that there were no other people besides ourselves. My guest and I thought for a minute that we had gone to the wrong place. So, my guest walked around looking for a crowd of some sort. At least then we would know we were in the right place. I sat while I waited for my guest to come back with good news. Well, finally my guest came back and told me that there were a lot of people about a block away from where we were. It turns out that The Blaisdell Concert Hall is different from The Blaisdell Center. The Blaisdell Center is where many exhibitions and other things like that take place. The Blaisdell Concert Hall is where music is played by The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, different bands, some various solo musicians and singers, and the operas performed in Honolulu all take place in The Blaisdell Concert Hall. I am sure that there are other events that almost certainly go on at The Blaisdell Concert Hall. However, regretfully, I am not aware of these miscellaneous performances that take place at The Blasdell Concert Hall.

I believe that all of the concerts at The Blaisdell Concert Hall are remarkable.

The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra and Thomas Hampson were both performing the night my guest and I made arrangements to experience what I hoped would be an incredible night of music and song. I was very excited, and so was my guest. Before we entered The Blaisdell Concert Hall, my guest treated me to an Italian ice, while he had Tiramisu. The Tiramisu looked really good. Of course, my guest offered me a bite of his Tiramisu so I could taste it. I never had the opportunity to try Tiramisu before that night. I was really missing out on this very delicious desert throughout the years because I didn’t want to try certain foods that I thought I might not have liked. However, I am always up to trying new foods now. The surprisingly good Tiramisu completely changed my outlook on foods that are foreign to me. After all, what’s the worst that could happen? You may taste something and not like it. So, you are out the few dollars is costs for whichever food you are trying if you don’t like it. But, you can always have some other food instead of what you tried that was not desirable. On the other hand, you may try a new food that tastes great. Trying new foods not only makes you a better rounded and adventurous person, but it also makes you more confident when it comes to trying many new things, not just food. Having more confidence often makes people less afraid to take more chances. Also, more confidence helps to always keep people on the look out for new and different opportunities that can open doors for themselves in the future that affects their lives in a positive way. More often than not, this is the case. It is funny how something as simple as Tiramisu brought about all of my previous thoughts. It really made me think.

I would like to tell you that we had great seats; there was a coffee type of bar, and a few other refreshment stands that you could get something from before the performance, or, after the performance, and the performance by The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, and the performance by Thomas Hampson, were both incredible. My guest and I were very pleased because The Blaisdell Concert Hall had very good acoustic qualities. Anyone who has gone to The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra will be able to convey the same feelings about the extraordinary performances of all of the musicians. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the audience on Saturday, the 19th of April. I enjoyed listening to the selections that Thomas Hampson, a wonderful baritone singer, chose for the evening he filled for all of us with song. Thomas Hampson is extremely diverse. One minute he is singing serious opera, and the next minute he is singing old American songs. I give Thomas Hampson a lot of credit. It is very hard to get up in front of an audience and do anything, much less sing. It is apparent that Thomas Hampson has spent years training his voice, learning an abundance of music, and being spectacular in front of an audience filled with adoring fans, and many newcomers who will be in love with him by the end of the concert. Thomas Hampson makes the best of pieces that are very difficult to learn. He also makes elegant and beautiful the pieces he sings that are written in a very harsh language, that don’t normally sound very pleasant when spoken, and are especially not pleasant to the ear when sung in. I can’t say enough about him. Thomas Hampson is marvelous! I highly recommend going to see him perform in person. He definitely does not buckle under the pressure of being in front of a live audience. In fact, I believe that he is actually more comfortable and happiest when he is doing a concert where there are many people. He truly loves the music he sings, and if you get to see him, you will love the music he sings too by the end of the show.

I can’t leave out the wonderful Honolulu Symphony Orchestra. Well, The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, after all, was the reason I decided to go to in the first place. The second reason, and a bonus, was that Thomas Hampson was going to be performing with The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, together. All of the musicians that make up The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra are very well trained on the instrument in which they play individually. However, it is really amazing that The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, as well as any orchestra, is really quite good while playing as a whole. I am assuming it is a grueling task to make sure everybody is playing the right notes, at the right times, to make the music sound awesome. Well, The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra does just that. The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra is pure enjoyment to anyone who goes to see them all perform.

All in all, my experience at The Blaisdell Concert Hall to hear The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra play the music, while Thomas Hampson sang, was one of the most memorable experiences of my life up until now. That is really saying something. So, trust me! Go see The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra the next time you are visiting Hawaii for any reason. You won’t regret it!!!

Review for Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu on 4/21/08

The Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu that we went to was close to the airport, and right next to a very nice motorcycle dealership. It is not that hard to find, even if you are taking the bus like we did. When we arrived at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu, my guest and I were pleasantly overwhelmed by how many sandwiches, drinks and other items there were that make up Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. Also, Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu was very cool inside, and we didn’t have to wait very long before we got to the front of the line to order our lunch.

It only took about 5 minutes to get to the front of the line at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. I was still looking at the menu; however, my guest had already decided what he was going to have at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. So, he ordered a single with cheese, a chili cheese baked potato, a large frosty, a large Pepsi and a large French fry. Since me and my guest live on Kauai, where there are no Wendy’s Restaurants, we don’t often get to have their wonderful items for lunch or dinner very often. I assumed that was why my guest ordered so much at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. Also, Wendy’s Restaurants are one of my guest’s favorite places to eat.

When it was my turn to order, I was still confused about what I wanted to order from Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. So, I quickly decided on a chicken sandwich, a sour cream and chive baked potato and a large soda at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. It only took a few minutes for the staff members at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu to put together all of the things we ordered for lunch. When we received our order I went to the condiment stand and got ketchup, knives, forks, spoons and napkins at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. We then proceeded to look for a seat in Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. We found a booth against a wall where we would not be in the way of other people looking for a place to sit at Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu.

I would like to take a minute to tell you about some of the other items that I didn’t mention that Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu serves to guests dining at their restaurant.

Double Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe: This is Wendy’s hot and juicy burger sized right and topped with all your favorites like ketchup, mustard, mayo, onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato and cheese.

1/4 lb. Single: This is made with a quarter pound of hot and juicy beef. Wendy’s single hamburger is made to order each and every time. Add American cheese and the works or just your favorite fresh toppings.

1/2 lb. Double with Cheese: This is a full half pound of hot and juicy beef, with American cheese, and the works or your choice.

3/4 lb. Triple with Cheese: Satisfy your hunger with three quarters of a pound of hot and juicy beef. Try it with American cheese and the works, or with just your favorite fresh toppings.

The Baconator: This is six strips of hickory smoked bacon piled high on top if two 1/4 lb. patties of fresh, never frozen, beef. This is completed with two slices of American cheese, mayo and ketchup for a mountain of mouth watering taste.

Jr. Hamburger: This is just made, just enough and just right. The hot and juicy beef you love without cheese.

Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger: Still your favorite bacon cheeseburger, just a bit smaller. This is the same great hot and juicy beef that is loaded with American cheese and hickory smoked bacon. This is guaranteed to satisfy.

Triple Stack: Get a lot of beef for a little cash. Try three fresh, never frozen, burger patties dressed up with American cheese, ketchup and mustard. It's simple satisfaction on a sandwich bun.

Crispy Chicken Sandwich: This is a tender, breaded chicken patty topped with crisp lettuce and creamy mayo done Wendy's way. This is fresh and delicious. Crispy chicken never had it so good.

5 piece Crispy Chicken Nuggets: Eat with your fingers. Crispy outside, juicy inside, Wendy's chicken nuggets are all white meat and cooked fresh to order. You choose the sauce. The sauces are barbecue, honey mustard, sweet and sour, or honey.

French Fries: Fries on the side. Nothing goes better with a hot and juicy hamburger or plump, juicy chicken fillet than our piping hot fries cooked to beautiful, golden brown perfection.

Original Chocolate Frosty: Cool, creamy and refreshing. Made with real milk, nothing satisfies more than this Wendy’s original.

Sour Cream and Chives Potato: Slow baked in an oven, not zapped in a microwave. Wendy’s sour cream and chives baked potato is perfect by itself or paired with a sandwich. This has great taste, and is a great value.

Chili: Wendy’s chili’s got award winning taste. Eat a bowl of rich and meaty chili that’s low in fat and high in fiber. Good taste and good for you, too.

Well, the above mentioned items are only a small portion of what Wendy’s Restaurants have to offer. It turns out that the lunch me and my guest ordered that day at Wendy’s Restaurant was amazingly good. My chicken sandwich was juicy, and fresh. My guest’s food was all very good he told me. There is definitely nothing negative to say about Wendy’s Restaurant on Oahu. Try something new, or order the same thing you always order, and know you love. I have been to Napoleon’s Bakery on Oahu many times before the review of the bakery I am writing today. I usually go to the Napoleon’s Bakery on Oahu that is located inside of Sears in The Ala Moana Shopping Mall. Napoleon’s Bakery is not easily seen unless you are on the bottom floor of Sears where it is located. Napoleon’s Bakery signature items include everything from Napples to their Ultimate Donuts. There is a reason why Napoleon’s Bakery is Hawaii's favorite bakery. Napoleon’s Bakery desserts are the highest quality, and are delicious! Napoleon’s Bakery has been in business 23 years, and they know the quality way of baking goods. Napoleon’s Bakery uses only the best ingredients, bakes from scratch, and bakes their items fresh daily. Napoleon’s Bakery assures their customers that this is the only way to make sure every bite is heavenly!

Napoleon’s Bakery is not a very large place. Napoleon’s Bakery is composed of one long cooler case with many mouthwatering selections of baked goods to choose from. Napoleon’s Bakery is kind of plain when you look around, but when you focus on their baked goods, all of those thoughts about the bakery looking ordinary fall from your mind.

When we arrived at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu, we were seated immediately. We didn’t have too much of a choice on where we could sit because Hooters Restaurant on Oahu was pretty crowded. All of the waitresses at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu were very busy bringing food and drinks to the tables of the people they were waiting on. I noticed that a lot of people in Hooters Restaurant on Oahu were being very noisy. Many of these loud and obnoxious people ordered pitcher after pitcher of beer, and some ordered shots too. I am assuming that it was the alcohol that motivated the behavior of the people surrounding us in Hooters Restaurant on Oahu.

So, my guest and I were greeted shortly after arriving and being seated by our waitress at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. We both ordered a drink. I had Sprite and my guest had Pepsi. Our waitress at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu came to deliver our drinks about five minutes after she took the order for them. Our waitress at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu asked us if we were going to place an order for an appetizer. Well, all of the food on the menu at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu looked good. But, my guest loves the wings in mild sauce as an appetizer at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. So, we ordered ten wings in mild sauce at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu.

As we waited for our wings to be delivered to our table at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu, we continued looking over the menus to decide what meals we were going to order for our lunch meal. Based on the menu descriptions, I was tempted by many items on the menu at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. My guest was just as overwhelmed, in a good way, with the items on the menu at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu.

I saw our appetizer being brought to our table by our waitress at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. My mouth was watering the whole time I watched our waitress approaching the table with our food. I could smell the mild sauce on the perfectly fried wings when our waitress put them down at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. The wings at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu are usually not very well drained of the oil that they are fried in when they are given to you. As a matter of fact, I think it’s safe to say that they are not drained at all. I think they are simply taken out of the oil, and then put directly on a plate at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. However, I am pretty pleased with the way the wings tasted at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. My guest agreed with me. He thought the wings at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu were very good. He has eaten at Hooters restaurants all over the United States. One thing he wanted me to mention is that the food you have at one Hooters Restaurant is going to taste exactly the same as the food you will receive at any of the other Hooters Restaurants anywhere. Consistency is extremely important for any restaurant food chain. Hooters Restaurant on Oahu is no exception. The food tastes great!!!

When our food arrived at our table at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu, I was eager to start eating because everything looked and smelled so good. When we tasted our lunch selections at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu, we were very happy. My smothered chicken sandwich was juicy, generously sized and cooked perfectly at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu. The potato salad that I chose to go along with my meal at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu was awesome. I can’t say enough about it. It was creamy, perfectly seasoned, and had an ample amount of potatoes in it at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu that were the right consistency. My guest’s lunch at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu was also cooked to his liking, not dry, and big enough to satisfy his appetite.

When the bill was brought to our table at Hooters Restaurant on Oahu, we were more than happy to pay what it amounted to. Especially because my guest said, “it is the best meal I have had in a long time.” So, it is unanimous!
